Scripture Reading: James 2:14-24 April 11, 2026
Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:8

Introduction: Faith is mandatory for our salvation. No one can be saved without it. So, what is faith?
1. Why is faith necessary in the life of a Saint? Hebrews 11:6a
2. Why can we not please God without faith? v 6bc.
3. Since faith is mandatory, what is faith? v 1.
4. What great event must we believe in to demonstrate that we have
faith in the Creator? v :3.
5. Noah was warned of God, but could not see the future. Is Noah
performing the commandment of God? Is that faith? v 7.
6. Abraham was called of God to receive an inheritance. Is Abraham
performing the commandment of God? Is that faith? v 8.
7. How much faith did Abraham have in God? v 17-19.
8. How does God respond to our faith? Luke 7:50, Luke 18:42,
Ephesians 2:8.

Conclusion: Faith is not only belief. It is the actions based on our belief. Noah and Abraham obeyed God’s command. That is faith.
