
CONVERSION
Scripture Reading: Psalm 19:7-11
Memory Verse: Psalm 51:13
Introduction: As human beings, we have negative habits, desires, and beliefs that define our lives. All must change. We must be converted.
1. What is necessary for salvation? Matthew 18:3.
2. To be converted, should we change our moral nature? What is said
about the carnal mind? Romans 8:6-7.
3. What two steps are necessary for conversion? Acts 20:20-21.
4. When we repent, what are we repenting of? Acts 3:19.
5. And what is sin? 1 John 3:4.
6. What relationship does the law have to conversion? Psalm 19:7.
7. When James refers to sin and the law, what law is he speaking of?
James 2:9, 11.
8. How does Paul refer to our old life? Romans 6:6. 8. How does
Paul refers to our new life? Romans 6:4.
9. Once converted, what does the new Saint receive? Acts 2:38.
Conclusion: To be converted, we must put the old man behind us, and start living as a new man. We are now new creatures in Jesus Christ.
