
GOD’S WILLINGNESS TO FORGIVE
Scripture Reading: Psalm 130
Memory Verse: Psalm 130:4
Introduction: God is not above the earth, looking for sinners to destroy. He wants the best for everyone, including forgiveness.
1. How has God dealt with penitent sinners? Psalm 103:10-11.
2. Why does He deal with mankind in this way? v 13-14.
3. What is God ready to do for all who call upon Him? Psalm 86:5.
4. Sodom and Gomorrah were probably the most wicked cities on
earth at that time. When Abraham asked God to spare Sodom if He
found ten righteous persons therein, what did He say? Genesis 18:32.
5. When David confessed his great sin to God, how did God respond?
Psalm 32:5.
6. Does God always forgive sins when they are confessed to Him?
1 John 1:9.
7. Did Jesus show His willingness to forgive? Matthew 26:27-28.
8. Why did Jesus go as far as giving His life for us? John 10:11-18.
Conclusion: When we sin, we must ask for forgiveness. God is more than willing to forgive every sinner who sincerely asks.
