Introduction: There are ordinances in the New Testament. One of which is baptism, which is necessary for salvation.

4. Why do we have to repent? Romans 3:23.
5. Baptism is a symbol of what? Romans 6:5.
6. After this death, burial, and resurrection, what should we do?
Colossians 3:1
7. For what purpose are we baptized? Acts 2:38.
8. How many types of baptism are there? Ephesians 4:5.
9. How long should someone wait to be baptized? Acts 22:16.
10. And, if someone never gets baptized? Mark 16:16.

Conclusion: Yes, this ordinance is necessary. It symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of the Saint. Once we are symbolically risen,
we start a new life.
