HOLY AND SANCTIFIED

Scripture Reading: John 17:14-19
Memory Verse: 1 Peter 1:15-16

Introduction: To be sanctified is to be separate and to be clean.
Exodus 19:23, 14. So, yes, God’s people should be holy and sanctified.
1. Can we be holy on this earth? 1 Peter 1:15-16.
2. Can we be without fault? Ephesians 1:4.
3. Can the Church be holy and without blemish? Ephesians 5:27.
4. Are the commandments of God holy? Romans 7:12.
5. Should we pray, that men should become holy and without blemish?
1 Thessalonians 5:23.
6. Can we see the Lord without being sanctified? Hebrews 12:14.
7. Is it God’s will that we be sanctified? 1 Thessalonians 4:3.
8. How far back do holiness and sanctification date?
2 Thessalonians 2:13.

Conclusion: We cannot see the Lord without sanctification. So, through what medium has God sanctified the Church?
Ephesians 5:25-27.
Answer: Through the word, the scriptures, the Bible.
