ETERNAL LIFE

Scripture Reading: John 3:14-17
Memory Verse: John 3:14-15

Introduction: What is the reward of the Saints? What will we receive for following the Son of God?
1. Mortal life was given at the Creation in Genesis 1. Who is the
source of all mortal life that we see on earth? Acts 17:24-25.
2. Who is declared to be the author of life? Psalm 36:5, 9.
3. How does Jesus relate life to Himself? Is Jesus speaking of mortal
life or eternal life? John 6:35.
4. We have eternal life. Where is that life now? Colossians 3:3.
5. When will this eternal life be granted to the Saints? Colossians 3:4.
6. Is eternal life something that is earned? Romans 6:23.
7. To whom will this gift be granted? Romans 2:7.
8. The reward is a gift, but based on what? Matthew 16:27.
9. After the Saints are resurrected, is there any possibility of death?
Whose children will we become? Luke 20:36.

Conclusion: As a gift, eternal life is granted to the Saints according to their righteous works. Romans 6:22.
