IMMORTALITY

Introduction: Man is a mortal being. Is immortality in our future?
1. What does the word mortal mean?
Answer: Subject to death.
2. The word mortal is used to describe who? Job 4:17.
3. What is the mortal body subject to? Romans 6:12. What do the
words immortal and immortality mean?
Answer: 1) Not subject to death. 2) The quality of eternal life.
4. How many times is the word immortal found in the Bible? One.
5. Who is described as immortal? 1 Timothy 1:17.
6. How many times is the word immortality found in the Bible? Five.
7. How may we gain immortality? Romans 2:7.
8. What part of man will put on immortality? 1 Corinthians 15:53.
9. What is said when mortality has put on immortality? v 54.

Conclusion: We are born mortal, but through the blood of Jesus Christ we will be granted immortality, eternal life.
