Introduction: How did the New Testament Passover originate?
1. What day was Jesus crucified on? Luke 22:7, Luke 23:23.
2. The evening before, what did Christ institute? Luke 22:19-20.
3. In addition to the unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine, what
else did He institute? John 13:4-5.
4. Is it necessary to follow this example? v 14-15.
5. What part of the day did these events happen? v 30.
6. Does Paul agree with the time of day? 1 Corinthians 11:23-25.
7. By following this ordinance, what do we show? v 26.
8. What will someone be guilty of if they participate in this ordinance
unworthily? v 27.

Conclusion: On the same day as the Old Testament Passover, Jesus instituted the New Testament Passover, He Himself being the Passover
Lamb, the unleavened bread and fruit of vine representing His body and blood.
