OUR WORDS (Part 1)

Scripture Reading: James 3:1-10
Memory Verse: Psalm 19:14

Introduction: The simplest way to practice our beliefs is through our words. Kind words, wise words, and occasionally silence.
1. How should every Saint govern their speech? Ephesians 4:29,
Colossians 4:6.
2. What promise is given those who follow that rule? Proverbs 13:3a.
3. Is there safety in this rule? Proverbs 21:23.
4. At times, is it wise to keep silent? Proverbs 17:18.
5. How influential are kind words? Proverbs 15:1.
6. Where do our words come from? Matthew 12:34.
7. What is said of the man who does not offend in word? James 3:2.
8. What does our speech have to do with eternal life? Proverbs 15:4.
9. When we are judged, will our words be considered?
Matthew 12:36-37.
10. What can we conclude from these scriptures? Proverbs 18:21.
Conclusion: Our words are more important than we may think. They are so important that we will be judged by them.
