
CONCERNING PRAYER

Introduction: There are many scriptures throughout the Bible concerning prayer. These many scriptures mean that it is an important topic that should be studied.
1. Is there a certain place where we should pray? 1 Timothy 2:8.
2. What is promised to those who ask through prayer? Matthew 7:8.
3. Is unintelligible mumbling (a misunderstanding of speaking in
tongues) an acceptable way to pray? 1 Corinthians 14:15.
4. Should prayers be demands for what we want? Philippians 4:6.
5. Should prayers be used as a display of piety? Matthew 6:7.
6. Sincere prayers should be reserved for where? v 6.
7. What role does faith play in our prayers? Hebrews 11:6.
8. How strong must our faith be? Mark 11:24.
9. When praying for our forgiveness, must we forgive others? v 25.
10. Is forgiving others mandatory? v 26.
Conclusion: These few scriptures let us know that pray must be sincere, done in thanksgiving, and according to our faith.
